State of Texas

Texas is one of the largest states in Union by population and size.   For size Texas is second only to Alaska and native Texans might tell you Alaska doesn’t count since its not part of the contiguous 48 states.  Texas has a long and proup independent tradition.  In fact some Texas (a small minority) are still trying to succeed from the United States to the independent country of Texas.    As a country Texas would still have one of the largest economies in the world.
